The new $68 million infrastructure project at the La Crosse Isle La Plume Wastewater Treatment Facility provides stabilization of wastewater discharges from the City of La Crosse as well as the municipal partners of La Crescent, Campbell, Shelby and Onalaska.
The start of this project marks a major milestone in regional collaboration for reliability improvements with additional upgrades for regulatory changes, energy efficiency, future capacity and flood resiliency.
The project is expected to take about three years to complete. Project ground breaking was May 20, 2021.
